Memories of me, like ripples in a stream,
Fading echoes of a distant dream.
Moments scattered, like autumn leaves,
Whispers of a past that softly grieves.
I was the laughter in a crowded room,
The quiet star in the midnight gloom.
A fleeting smile, a touch of grace,
Now just a shadow, time can’t erase.
In every corner, a trace remains,
Of joy and sorrow, love and pains.
I was the song, the dance, the flame,
Yet still, I linger, though not the same.
So here I am, in thoughts you keep,
A memory buried, but not asleep.
For though I fade, I’ll always be,
The echo of what you once did see.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and light,
Brenda Marie
