Poem: Ascending Through Silence

Ascending Through Silence

In the stillness, where echoes fade,
A soft ascent through twilight’s shade.
The air, untouched, begins to hum,
A quiet song where whispers come.

Each breath, a step toward unseen skies,
The world below, in silence lies.
The stars, like lanterns, guide the way,
Through midnight’s veil, a quiet sway.

No words, no sounds, just steady climb,
Through moments lost, through space, through time.
The weight of thought begins to lift,
In stillness, find a silent gift.

Higher still, the silence calls,
A quiet answer, softly falls.
And in the peace, all doubts take flight,
Ascending through the quiet night.

Here, where the silence speaks so loud,
The soul is free, no longer bound.
With each soft breath, the heart aligns,
Ascending through these silent signs.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
