Poem: Go Within

Go within.
Not to escape the world,
but to remember who you were
before the world told you who to be.

In the quiet space between thoughts,
there is a doorway.
You do not need to open it—
only to sit beside it,
and listen.

The soul does not shout.
It hums, it breathes, it waits.
It speaks in the language of stillness,
in the rhythm of your heartbeat
when all distractions fade.

There is no judgment here.
No past too heavy,
no wound too deep
for light to reach.

You are not broken.
You are becoming.
Every ache, every longing,
is a prayer unfolding.

Let the old stories fall away.
The ones that kept you small,
the ones that said healing must look a certain way.

Sit with your shadows.
Not to fix them—
but to witness them
with love.

And as you do,
the soul remembers its song.
The ancient one.
The holy one.
The one that sounds like truth
and feels like peace.

Go within.
Not to find answers,
but to be the space
where answers come.

Go within.
And come home.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
