Poem: Soul Connection

I knew you not by name or face,
But by a warmth I can’t explain,
A quiet pull through time and space,
A whisper soft as rain.

No words were needed when we met—
The silence spoke instead,
As if our spirits once had met
In lives, we both had shed.

Your eyes held echoes of my own,
A mirror deep and true,
A language written not in stone,
But in a sacred hue.

We danced where logic dared not go,
Beyond the mind’s control,
Two currents in the same deep flow,
Two halves that made one whole.

It wasn’t bound by touch or sight,
Or tethered to the years,
But forged in stars and dream-born light,
And softened by our tears.

Though time may stretch or fate divide,
No distance feels apart—
For soul to soul will always glide
The path from heart to heart

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
