Let go, dear soul, the weight you bear,
That silent ache, too long held there.
The winds still move, the stars still shine—
This sorrow does not make you mine.
You’ve mourned the loss, you’ve wept the night,
You’ve sat with ghosts till morning light.
But now the dawn calls out your name,
And nothing living stays the same.
Grief taught you love, its deepest tone,
How hearts can break and still go on.
But you are not a shadow’s thread—
You’re more than what the silence said.
Breathe in the world, the blooming now,
The gentle rain, the budding bough.
Your roots are deep, your branches high—
Release the past into the sky.
So lift your heart, though tender still,
Let time reshape the hurt to will.
Not to forget, but to be free—
Let go, and come back home to be.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie
