The Deeper You Feel, the Deeper You Heal

The deeper you feel, the deeper you heal—
Though pain may strike sharp, raw, and real.
Though tears may fall like summer rain,
Each drop is part of shedding pain.

Do not fear the aching chest,
The tremble of a soul distressed.
Feel it all—don’t look away,
The only path is through, not stray.

 Wound ignored will never close,
They fester where the numbness grows.
But those you face, those truths you meet,
Begin to shift beneath your feet.

Grief, when held with open hands,
Becomes a bridge, not sinking sands.
And sorrow, when it’s fully known,
Can break you free, can carve new stone.

You are not weak for letting cry
What others swallow, pass, deny.
You are the roots beneath the tree—
What grows unseen sets spirits free.

So feel it deep, let your heart break—
That is the sound that healing makes.
The soul expands where it has bled.
The deeper you feel, the more is shed.

The deeper you feel, the truer the light.
You rise not in spite, but because of the night.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
