Poem: The Light of a New Tomorrow

The Light of a New Tomorrow

The night may linger, cold and long,
Its silence loud, its pull so strong.
But even stars must bow to day,
And darkness always fades away.

Beyond the hills of fear and pain,
The sun prepares to rise again.
Its golden breath, so soft, so wide,
Will chase the shadows where they hide.

Each morning holds a quiet grace,
A chance to find a better place.
No wound too deep, no past too far—
To dim the light of who you are.

The path ahead is still unknown,
But seeds of hope are gently sown.
And every tear that touched the ground
May bloom where joy is finally found.

So lift your gaze, though skies seem gray—
The dawn is never far away.
Hold fast through sorrow, grief, and rain,
The light of a new tomorrow will reign.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
