Poem: Fight for You

I’ve walked through fire, I’ve danced with rain,
I’ve held my breath to numb the pain.
But if the world should come untrue—
I’d still rise up and fight for you.

When thunder breaks the peaceful skies,
And fear looks out from hidden eyes,
I’ll stand my ground, my aim is true—
No force can make me turn from you.

The night may howl, the winds may tear,
But know this heart will always care.
I’ll cross the dark, the old, the new—
Whatever waits, I’ll fight for you.

Your silence, even sharp as steel,
I’ll brave it all to make you heal.
For even storms must one day pass—
And dawn breaks fierce through shattered glass.

I won’t give up, I won’t let go,
No matter what the shadows show.
Through war or peace, through loss or blue—
Know this: I’ll always fight for you.

Thank-you for reading.

Many blessings to all.

Much love and light,

Brenda Marie
