O brother, bowed beneath the strain,
The world has taught you to hide your pain.
But let the silence break tonight—
Let shadows soften into light.
You carry weights you do not name,
Expecting strength, not praise or blame.
But even mountains crack and cry
Beneath the thunder of the sky.
You are more than just a wall—
You’re wind and fire and rise and fall.
You’re laughter buried under stone,
A heart too often left alone.
So take this truth into your chest:
You too are worthy of your rest.
You too may weep without disguise,
And still be noble in our eyes.
No war inside you needs to rage,
No shame to lock inside a cage.
The love you give, the dreams you’ve lost,
Were never thrown away or tossed.
The boy you were is still inside,
Still hoping, hurting, full of pride.
Embrace him now, and let him speak—
The strong are never just the meek.
To every man with silent scars,
You are still worthy of the stars.
And though the world may not yet see,
You are enough. You’ve always been.
Be free.
Thank-you for reading.
Much love and Light,
Brenda Marie Fluharty

Nice poem Brenda 🌷🤝 This poem is a tender, powerful reminder that strength isn’t found in stoicism alone—it’s in the courage to be vulnerable, to rest, and to honor the scars we carry. A beautiful ode to resilience, self-compassion, and the unshakable worth within every person. *”You are enough. You’ve always been.”* —what a healing truth.
