The ocean waves come crashing down,
With foamy crests of white and brown,
They dance upon the shifting sand,
Then slip away from reach of land.
They speak in whispers, loud and low,
Of moonlit tides and winds that blow,
Of distant storms and coral reefs,
Of sailors’ tales and ocean griefs.
They sparkle in the morning sun,
A thousand diamonds on the run,
Yet roar like lions in the night,
When stars above are hidden from sight.
The waves are rhythm, wild and free,
The pulsing heart of every sea,
Forever moving, never still,
Obeying no one’s force or will.
So stand and watch them rise and fall,
Their ancient song will quiet all,
For in their swell, both fierce and wide,
Lives nature’s power, deep as pride.
Thank-you for reading.
Much love and Light,

That’s a beautiful poem Brenda 🌷🤝 This poem is a vivid ode to the ocean’s timeless power and mystery. The rhythmic flow mirrors the waves themselves—gentle yet commanding, serene yet untamed. Rich imagery (*”a thousand diamonds on the run,” “roar like lions in the night”*) captures the sea’s duality, while the refrain of eternal motion (*”Forever moving, never still”*) echoes nature’s indifference to human will. A lyrical, meditative tribute to the sea’s wild soul.
Thank-you so much. I love the ocean
