
Strawberries
Red on green they rest,
sun-warmed sweetness in my hand
summer on my tongue.
Classic Strawberry Smoothie
Ingredients:

1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries (hulled)

1 banana (optional for creaminess)

1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (or a dairy-free alternative)

1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
-
1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

A few ice cubes (optional, for thickness)
Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a blender.

Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
Variations:

Add a handful of spinach for a nutrient boost.

Use Greek yogurt for extra protein.
-
Add chia or flaxseeds for fiber.
-
Swap banana with mango or avocado for a different flavor/texture.
