Poem: Let Go of Anger

Let go of anger, burning bright,
That flares like fire, then dims the light.
It guards the hurt, it fuels the flame,
Yet leaves the heart with only blame.

It speaks of justice, sharp and loud,
A thunder trapped inside a cloud.
But hold it long, and you will see—
It cages more than it sets free.

Anger can rise, and anger can teach,
But peace is found beyond its reach.
Release the storm, the gritted jaw—
The soul was never meant to war.

So breathe it out, let silence mend,
Not every battle needs to end.
You are not fury, not the scar—
Let go of anger. Be who you are.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty

  1. Great advice Brenda 🌷🤝 This poem is a powerful meditation on the weight of anger and the liberation of letting go. The imagery—fire, thunder, storms—captures anger’s intensity, while the gentle wisdom of the final lines reminds us that peace comes from release, not resistance. A beautifully crafted reminder that our true strength lies not in holding on, but in surrendering what no longer serves us. 🌿✨
