Poem: Let Go of Guilt

Let go of guilt, the silent chain,
That binds the heart in quiet pain.
It speaks in sighs, in sleepless nights,
In rewound scenes and fading lights.

It holds your hand with fingers cold,
A story worn, a sorrow old.
But what is done is set, not sealed—
The wounds can close, the soul be healed.

You are not every wrong you’ve done,
Nor every setting of the sun.
You are the dawn that still can rise,
The truth that waits behind your eyes.

Make peace with flaws, with the choices made—
The past is not where you must stay.
Forgive, renew, begin to build—
Let go of guilt. Be gently filled.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
