Day by day, the sun will rise,
Behind the clouds or in clear skies.
The world will turn, the clocks will chime,
And life will move in silent time.
Day by day, the heart will mend,
Though breaks may never fully end.
We learn to breathe through aching lungs,
To sing again with softer tongues.
Day by day, the steps feel slow,
But even still, we learn, we grow.
A kindness shared, a wound made less,
A little light in heaviness.
Day by day, we find our way,
Not all at once, but come what may.
Through grief, through joy, through in-between,
We build a life from what has been.
So hold on tight or let things go,
Move fast or take it soft and low—
But trust this truth come what may:
We live, we learn it…
Day by day.
Thank-you for reading.
Much love and Light,
