Poem: Take It Slow

Breathe in deep, the world can wait,
The rushing wind need not dictate.
Let the morning linger, soft and wide,
Like dew that clings and won’t subside.

The clock may tick, but let it fade,
Time bends for those who aren’t afraid
To sip their tea, to watch the rain,
To walk with thoughts they can’t explain.

Take it slow—let moments bloom,
Like jasmine in a quiet room.
No need to chase what moves too fast,
Some things are meant, not made to last.

So close your eyes, and feel the flow—
The world spins on, but you… take it slow.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie

  1. “A gentle, soulful reminder to embrace stillness in a world that never stops moving. Your words weave a sanctuary of slowness—where time bends, tea steeps, and life unfolds at the pace of a deep breath. 🌿☕” very nice poem Brenda 👍🏻🌷🤝
