Step where the edges fray and bend,
Where comfort knows no hand to lend.
Walk through the fire, not around—
That’s where your truest self is found.
Embrace the ache of not yet known,
The stretch of skin, the breaking bone.
Growth is never soft or still—
It asks your sweat, it takes your will.
Let awkward silence teach you grace,
Let failure stare you in the face.
Don’t flee the sting, the trembling breath—
That’s how you learn to dance with death.
Discomfort is a sacred guide,
A truth that fear would have you hide.
It’s how the brave are forged and made—
In mess and risk, not ease or shade.
So lean into the sharp and raw,
The missing map, the natural flaw.
That restless place where doubt runs deep—
Is where your soul begins to leap.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie

This is raw, unfiltered truth Brenda ! a battle cry for growth written in fire and grit. The poem doesn’t romanticize struggle; it sanctifies it, framing discomfort as the anvil that forges authenticity. Every line thrums with the paradox of strength: to *leap*, you must first stand at the edge where everything *frays*. Chills. 🔥🖤
