Poem: Embrace Your True Self

Beneath the mask the world may see,
There lies a soul, wild and free.
Not shaped by fear, nor dressed in guise—
A truth that dances in your eyes.

No need to shrink, no need to hide,
Your worth was never meant to bide
In silence or in borrowed skin—
The light you seek has always been.

The world may push, may try to mold,
With tales of who you should uphold.
But stars don’t ask how they should burn,
They simply shine at every turn.

So speak your name without regret,
Wear every scar, don’t soon forget
That every step, both lost and found,
Has shaped the strength that now surrounds.

Let laughter rise, let sorrows fall,
Let love grow fierce and stand up tall.
Be wild, be strange, be soft, be loud—
Be everything and still unbowed.

Embrace your truth, your voice, your flame—
The world is brighter when you claim
The soul you are, not who you feign—
For only truth can break the chain.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie

  1. This is a powerful anthem of self-liberation Brenda 🌷🤝 a reminder that authenticity is your birthright, not an apology. The imagery of stars burning without permission and truth breaking chains makes the soul’s defiance feel both cosmic and intimate. A celebration of the unshakable light within, urging us to shed masks and shine *exactly* as we are. Unapologetically radiant. ✨🔥
