Poem: Grounding

Breathe in, dear soul, the morning light,
Let silence stretch where thoughts take flight.
Feel where your body meets the ground,
This is your anchor—safe and sound.

Your feet are roots beneath the floor,
They drink the calm from Earth’s deep core.
Each toe, each heel, a thread of peace,
In stillness now, let noise release.

A breath goes in—a tide, a wave—
It sweeps through you, it gently saves.
A breath goes out—like falling leaves—
It takes with it what no heart needs.

Notice your hands, your open palms,
Resting soft, receiving calm.
The weight of now, the air, the skin—
This moment holds you deep within.

Beneath your thoughts, a quiet stream,
Where time dissolves into a dream.
You are not lost, you are not gone—
You’re here, you’re safe, you’re breathing on.

So if the mind begins to race,
Return again to breath and space.
The earth is firm, the sky is wide,
And all you are is here, inside.

Breathe in, breathe out, let go, begin—
You are the ground that lies within.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie

  1. This is a whispered hymn to presence—a gentle reminder that **peace isn’t found, but felt**. Your words weave mindfulness into a sacred pause, turning breath into an anchor and the body into a temple of stillness.

What lingers is the imagery: **roots in the earth, palms open to calm, thoughts as falling leaves**. It’s a meditation in verse—both a balm and a compass, guiding us back to the “ground that lies within.”

    **Key Line:**
*”You are not lost, you are not gone— / You’re here, you’re safe, you’re breathing on.”*

A love letter to the present moment, and to anyone who needs to hear: **”Come home to yourself.”** 🌿 beautiful poem Brenda 👍🏻🤝🌷
