Poem: Shield and Protect

Close your eyes and slow your breath,
Let stillness settle, soft as death.
Feel the pulse beneath your skin—
The quiet strength that lives within.

Inhale the light, and let it rise,
A golden sun behind your eyes.
Exhale slowly, calmly and deeply,
Sink into your body’s keep.

Now see a spark—a tiny flame,
No fear, no need, no face, no name.
It grows around you, pure and bright,
A sacred sphere of living light.

From crown to root, from heart to hands,
It flows where your awareness lands.
It thickens now, like woven thread,
A field of power gently spreads.

Silver threads from stars above,
Weave a net of truth and love.
Each strand infused with will and grace,
A shield that time cannot erase.

No thought may pierce, no word may bind,
No draining force, no heavy mind.
This light responds to only you—
To what is real, and kind, and true.

Now breathe into your sacred space,
Your aura shines with silent grace.
Its edges firm, its center clear,
No harm may enter, linger near.

Any weight not meant to stay,
Gently melts and fades away.
All that’s yours, you hold with care,
All else dissolves into the air.

You are safe, and you are strong,
Rooted deep and standing long.
This shield is yours to call and keep—
In waking hours or dreaming sleep.

Breathe once more—then let it be,
This circle bright, this boundary free.
Return in peace, your power sealed,
With love and light, forever shielded.

When you return, do so gently. The light remains. You are protected.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God. Follow your own path,
