Guided Meditation: Clearing Negativity from a Room

Find a comfortable seated position or stand if you prefer. Allow your body to settle, your breath to soften, and your awareness to turn gently inward.

Begin by centering yourself…

Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose…
Hold it for a moment…
And slowly exhale through your mouth.

Let’s do that again.

Breathe in deeply…
Feel your lungs fill completely…
Hold…
And breathe out gently, releasing any tension.

One more time.
Breathe in peace…
And exhale everything that does not serve you.

Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

Now bring your awareness to the room around you.

Feel the space you’re in.
Notice the temperature, the energy, the sounds.
There is no judgment. Just awareness.

Visualize the walls, the ceiling, the floor.
See the corners. The shadows. The places light touches.
Imagine the entire room gently glowing with a soft, warm light.

Invite clearing energy in.

Now, picture a gentle golden mist beginning to flow into the room.
It seeps in through the windows, the cracks under the doors, and even through the air itself.
This mist is pure, calming, and filled with cleansing energy.

As it flows in, it begins to dissolve negativity.
Feel it lifting heavy thoughts…
Soothing tension…
Releasing fear, anger, or stagnation.

Let this golden light swirl through the space—
Moving into corners, behind furniture, under tables.
No place is missed. Everything is touched by this light.

As it flows, it gathers up all energy that no longer serves.
Everything heavy… everything dark… is gently lifted, surrounded by compassion, and carried away.

You may see it turning to smoke… fading… or simply vanishing.
Whatever feels right to you.

Now fill the space with positive energy.

Begin to breathe in light.
With each inhale, imagine drawing in peaceful, vibrant energy.

Let it radiate from your heart, filling the room from the inside out.

Say quietly to yourself, or aloud:

“This space is clear. This space is sacred. This space is filled with peace, love, and protection.”

Repeat as many times as you like.

Feel the room responding—
Becoming lighter… calmer… warmer…
Like an exhale after a long-held breath.

Seal the space.

Now imagine a soft shield of light gently settling over the room.
It protects the peace you’ve created.
It allows in only what serves your highest good.
And it keeps negativity out.

Breathe into this protection.
Know that you are safe.
This space is yours. It is clear.

Return gently.

Bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers, your toes.
Roll your shoulders.
And when you’re ready, open your eyes.

Take a deep breath in…
And exhale fully.

You are here.
You are present.
And the room is filled with light.
