Poem: Call Back Your Strength

Call back your strength from where you fell,
From cracks, you patched but never tell.
From battles fought behind closed doors,
From trembling hands and quiet wars.

Call it from tears that carved your face,
From every time you held your place.
From mornings, you rose with aching bones,
And walked the path you faced alone.

Reclaim it from the names they gave,
From every time you had to brave
The weight of doubt, the sting of scorn—
Still standing though your soul was torn.

Call back your strength, not loud, but true,
From the fire that quietly carried you.
It never left, just learned to hide
In patient breath and steady stride.

It lives in scars you wear with pride,
In truths you’ve spoken, though denied.
In every no you had to shout,
In every fear you walked without.

You are the steel beneath the skin,
The quiet pulse that beats within.
So lift your head, don’t ask, don’t bend—
Call back your strength. Begin again.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
