Poem: Call Back Your Power

Call back your power from silence and stone,
From every place you left it alone.
In whispered yeses, in choked-down no’s,
Indoors you held as others chose.

Call it from corners where you shrank small,
From echoes that rang when you hit a wall.
From nights, you wept, but dared not speak,
From every time you felt too weak.

Gather it up from the words unsaid,
From dreams you buried, thoughts you fled.
From shame like smoke in your tender chest,
From love you gave with second-best.

Call back your fire, your thunder, your name—
Not as a storm, but a quiet reclaim.
Not in fury, but fierce, firm grace—
Your own reflection you now embrace.

No one can keep what is yours by right,
Not time, not fear, not stolen light.
So rise, not broken, but whole and wise,
With power steady behind your eyes.

You are not a shadow, not a trace—
You are a force time can’t erase.
So stand, and speak, and don’t bow low.
Call back your power. Let it show.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
