Poem: Heal the World by Going Within

The world is cracked, the skies run dry,
We ask the stars and wonder why—
Why hate still walks, why peace feels thin…
The answer waits, it lies within.

We chase the cure in outer things,
In thrones of gold, in laws of kings,
Yet all the noise, the clash, the din—
Can’t touch the wounds that live within.

Close your eyes, and breathe once more,
There’s calm behind the inner door.
Beneath the pain, beneath the skin,
A deeper light begins within.

Each heart, a mirror of the whole,
Each soul, a thread in one great soul.
To mend the earth, the work begins—
In silent rooms, in quiet ins.

Forgive yourself, then heal your past,
Unlearn the fears you thought would last.
With every truth you dare begin,
A ripple moves the world within.

So sit, be still, and feel the change,
The world outside will rearrange.
For peace is not some prize to win—
We heal the world by going within.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
