Poem: Balance is the Key

In morning hush and evening flame,
The world moves on, yet stays the same.
A river knows not rush or rest—
It flows, and that is what is best.

The sun must rise, the moon must fall,
Each takes its turn, yet shares it all.
A tree stands firm, yet bends with breeze—
Its roots dig deep, its branches tease.

Too much of light can blind the eyes,
Too much of the truth can mask the wise.
Even the stars, though fierce and bright,
Burn quiet in the velvet night.

To speak with fire, but listen deeply,
To wake with drive, but learn from sleep—
To give your heart, yet guard it too,
To hold to self, yet walk with few.

No need to chase, no need to flee,
The middle path is wild and free.
Not less, not more—just let it be—
The quiet strength: balance is the key.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie

  1. This poem beautifully captures the essence of balance Brenda — harmony between movement and stillness, giving and guarding, passion and patience. Its gentle wisdom reminds us that true strength lies in embracing life’s natural rhythms without force or resistance. A serene and timeless reflection. Nice poem thanks for sharing 🌷🤝
