Poem: Loving Life

I sip the sun in morning’s gold,
A warmth that never can be sold.
The sky, a canvas wide and true,
Paints every hour a different hue.

I breathe the breeze, I taste the rain,
I dance with joy and sit with pain.
For every shadow, every scar,
Is proof of how alive we are.

The laughter shared, the tears we hide,
The rushing waves, the turning tide—
Each moment fleeting, wild, and bright,
A spark within the endless night.

To walk, to fall, to rise again,
To lose, to love, to meet a friend—
To feel it all, both sharp and sweet,
Is life itself, complete, complete.

So let the clocks keep ticking on,
I’ll sing my song until I’m gone.
With open arms and fearless stride—
I’m loving life, not just the ride.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
