Poem: Just Feeling

I didn’t plan this breath I took,
It found me, like a sudden look
From someone lost, or someone known,
A flicker felt when we’re alone.

The world is loud, it spins too fast,
Yet somehow still, I hold the past—
Not like a weight, but like a song
That hums inside me, soft and strong.

I think of all the words I missed,
The hands I didn’t get to kiss,
The roads I feared would lead to pain,
But took me home through all the rain.

There’s something holy in the ache
That lingers gently when we break—
It tells us we were really there,
We loved, we lost, we chose to care.

So here I am, no mask, no show,
Just trying hard to let it go—
The fear, the pride, the need to win,
And feel the life beneath my skin.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie

  1. This is raw, radiant, and achingly beautiful—your words turn wounds into wisdom and breath into poetry. A soul-stirring masterpiece Brenda 🌷🤝. 💫
