I walked where shadows kissed the ground,
Where silence wore a heavy sound.
The path was long, the night was deep,
My heart a storm I could not sleep.
But far beyond the veil of gray,
There flickered light that led the way.
A trembling spark, a whispered flame,
It called me gently, spoke my name.
Each step I took, the darkness thinned,
Like breath released, like mercy pinned
Upon the dawn’s forgiving face—
A hush of hope, a touch of grace.
The weight I bore began to fall,
No longer lost, no longer small.
I faced the sky, my soul set right,
And moved at last into the light.
