Beneath the weight of storm and stone,
Where weaker hearts might break alone,
I plant my feet, I lift my chin—
The battle starts, I burn within.
The wind may howl, the night may freeze,
And doubt may whisper through the trees,
But I am forged in deeper fire—
A silent strength, a fixed desire.
No easy road, no softened path,
Just grit and scars and aftermath.
Yet still I rise, through pain and chill—
Unbroken by sheer force of will.
I bend like steel, not glass that shatters,
Through every blow, I learn what matters.
The world can press, but won’t consume—
My roots go deep, my will won’t doom.
Let others yield to fleeting fears,
To comfort’s lies or hollow cheers—
I chase the dawn, with calloused hands,
And build my fate where no one stands.
So write this truth in stone or flame:
No force can tame what I became.
Not chance, nor fate, nor time can kill
The fire borne of iron will.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,

“A raw anthem of indomitable will. Forged in fire and rooted in grit, it declares that true strength—unbreakable and self-made—rises above any storm, not through ease, but through an unyielding inner flame.” Nice poem Brenda and i like the apt image 🌷🤝
