Poem: Graceful

To move through life with quiet ease,
Like drifting leaves on autumn’s breeze,
Is not to rush, nor force, nor chase—
But walk the world with gentle grace.

A whispered word, a softened tone,
A kindness given, though unknown,
A calm amidst the storm and strife—
This is the art of graceful life.

Not just in step or poised display,
But in the things we do and say—
In patience when the moment stalls,
In rising each time someone falls.

Grace is strength that wears a smile,
A steady heart that walks each mile.
It’s dignity in letting go,
And courage when the answers slow.

So be not loud to prove your place,
But let your spirit move with grace—
For in a world that hurries by,
The graceful soul will learn to fly.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie

  1. This is a beautiful and thoughtful poem. It captures the essence of grace not as a mere external performance, but as an internal compass of strength, kindness, and quiet dignity. A wonderful reminder that true power often lies in gentleness.
