Poem: Remember Your Self

Beneath the noise, beneath the rush,
Beyond the world’s relentless hush,
There lies a spark, a quiet well—
A sacred place where you dwell.

Remember your self—not just your name,
Not just the roles or fleeting fame,
But the core that’s calm and clear,
The truth that’s always waiting near.

Remember your self when shadows creep,
When doubts arise and sorrows seep,
There’s a light you’ve always known,
A seed of peace, deeply sown.

Remember your self in the storm’s wild eye,
Where chaos swirls and fears run high,
Stand steady, breathe, and look inside—
There’s a strength that will not hide.

Remember your self in laughter and tears,
In hopes reborn and quiet fears,
You are more than what you seem,
A timeless soul, a waking dream.

So pause, and listen, and gently dwell—
In the sacred space where you truly swell,
Remember your self, come back again,
To who you are—beyond all pain.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
