Poem: The Spark of God Is in You

The Spark of God Is in You

A whisper born before the dawn,
A light no shadow dares to pawn,
It flickers deep within your soul—
A flame that makes the broken whole.

Not forged in stars or bound by clay,
Not something time can steal away.
It’s older than the earth or sea,
A sacred thread of majesty.

When fear would fold your wings in tight,
Remember: you were born of Light.
Not just to wander, wound, or weep—
But sow the dreams the heavens keep.

It’s not in thrones or mountain peaks,
But in the silent heart that seeks.
In kindness done with quiet grace,
In tears that sanctify a face.

So walk not small, nor dim your flame—
You bear the breath of God’s own name.
No need to search the skies above—
You are already touched by Love.

The world may blind, may bend, untrue—
But still, the spark of God is you.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
