The light of God is in your heart,
A silent flame, a sacred spark.
It glows within when days are dim,
A quiet song, a holy hymn.
No shadow deep, no night too long,
Can steal the strength of Spirit’s song.
Though winds may howl and tempests start,
Still shines His light within your heart.
It guides you when you lose your way,
A compass bright at break of day.
Not carved in stone, nor found apart—
But living deep within your heart.
When hope is faint and dreams depart,
Remember this: you are His art.
Not lost, not less, not torn, not scarred—
The light of God still burns, unmarred.
So walk in faith, though paths are steep,
His watch is long, His love is deep.
You are His lamp, His work, His part—
The light of God is in your heart.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
Brenda Marie
