Don’t judge the face that meets your eyes,
The mask we wear is full of lies.
A flawless smile, a tailored look—
But souls aren’t bound by fashion’s book.
The skin may wrinkle, fade, or scar,
Yet none of that reveals who we are.
A heart might shine behind dull eyes,
A spirit soar where silence lies.
The loudest laugh can hide the ache,
A golden chain may be a fake.
And those who dress in modest ways
Might hold a fire that brightly blazes.
So pause before you cast a name,
Before you play the surface game.
For beauty’s more than what is shown—
It’s in the kindness gently sown.
Look deeper than the eyes can see,
Past labels, shape, or pedigree.
If you would know what makes us whole,
Then learn to see the naked soul.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
