Poem: You Are Strong

You are strong—not loud, not brash,
But steady in the storm’s great crash.
A quiet will, a steady flame,
That burns through loss and fear and shame.

You are strong when days are dim,
When every chance feels paper-thin.
Still, you rise, you breathe, you try—
A thousand falls, a thousand skies.

You are strong not just in might,
But in choosing peace instead of fight.
In holding space for others’ pain,
And walking through your own, again.

Not made of steel, not carved from stone,
But built from battles faced alone.
With every scar and every tear,
You wear your courage clear and near.

So let the world say what it will—
You climb the mountain, patient, still.
Not for the crowd, not for the song—
But just to prove:

You are strong.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
