In quiet depths where shadows lie,
Beneath the noise, beneath the cry,
There lives a spark, so small, unseen—
A flicker soft, a soul between.
No storm can drown, no night can bind,
The light that dwells in heart and mind.
Though weary roads may twist and spin,
Still burns the light—the light within.
Not forged of flame, nor born of sun,
But shaped by trials we’ve overcome.
It rises when the world turns cold,
A gentle fire, brave and bold.
When doubt is loud and hope is thin,
Close your eyes, and look within.
There lies a truth no fear can dim—
Your quiet strength, your light within.
So let it shine, though winds may blow,
Let kindness be the way you glow.
And as you walk through dark and din,
Be guided by the light within.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,

This is a beautiful and uplifting poem about inner resilience. It effectively uses the metaphor of a “light within” to represent the quiet, unyielding strength found in the human spirit. The message is clear and comforting: no matter the external darkness or internal doubt, this core strength, forged by our struggles, remains to guide us. The gentle, rhythmic cadence makes it feel like a reassuring anthem for difficult times.
