Poem: Walk in the Light

When shadows stretch across the land,
And doubts arise like drifting sand,
Lift up your eyes, embrace the day—
The light will always guide your way.

Each step you take, though steep or slow,
Reveals a path you’re meant to know.
The darkest night must yield to dawn,
And still, the light goes walking on.

It glows in kindness, truth, and grace,
It shines in every upturned face,
It warms the cold, it clears the blind—
A lamp for heart, and soul, and mind.

So walk in light, through storm or clear,
Let courage rise where there was fear.
Though winds may howl, hold strong, hold tight—
You’re not alone. Walk in the light.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
