Poem: Where the Quiet Lives

Breathe in the hush where the wildflowers lean,
Where silence is soft and the world turns green.
Let sorrow unfold in the light of the day,
Then float like a feather and drift far away.

The pain that once echoed in valleys so deep
Now rocks on the waves of a kinder sleep.
The heart, though bruised, still learns to sing,
In the hush between loss and the hope it will bring.

You are not broken, just bending in grace,
A river reshaping its tender embrace.
Each scar is a story, each tear a release,
Each breath a return to your birthright of peace.

So lay down the weight you were never to hold,
Let the warmth of the sun seep into the cold.
Healing is quiet, and slow, and unseen—
But the soul always knows what it means to be clean.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,
