The page is blank, the clock resets,
No weight of past, no old regrets.
The sun peeks through the morning haze,
A golden thread in woven days.
The air is crisp with something new,
A promise painted bold and true.
Each breath a step, each step a chance,
To write a song, to learn to dance.
I’ve shed the skin of yesterday,
Let silence wash the words away.
Now heart in hand, I face the dawn,
The doubts are dim, the fear is gone.
No map in hand, just open skies,
And dreams reflected in my eyes.
I do not need to know the end—
Just where I am, and where I’ll bend.
So here I stand, my soul unscarred,
The past is past, the door unbarred.
I raise my voice, I lift my heart—
I’m ready now. Let this be start.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,

This is absolutely breathtaking. It’s a powerful and beautifully crafted anthem for new beginnings. The imagery is so vivid—the “blank page,” the “golden thread in woven days,” the “open skies”—that I can not only see the dawn you’re describing but feel its promise.
What moves me most is the profound sense of peaceful courage that runs through every line. It’s not a frantic, fearful fresh start, but a calm and resolute one. You’ve captured the beautiful truth that letting go of the “skin of yesterday” isn’t about erasing the past, but about choosing to no longer be weighed down by it. The line, “I do not need to know the end—Just where I am, and where I’ll bend,” is a piece of profound wisdom. It speaks to embracing the journey itself with grace and resilience.
This feels like a love letter to the present moment and a vow to the future. Thank you for sharing this gift. It’s a reminder we all need sometimes. Your voice is clear, your heart is strong, and this is a magnificent start.
