Guided Meditation: Calling Back Your Power
Begin by settling in.
Find a comfortable position — sitting or lying down.
Let your hands rest softly, your shoulders relax, your jaw unclench.
Close your eyes, and take a slow, deep breath in through your nose…
and a long, gentle breath out through your mouth.
With every breath, let yourself arrive a little more fully in this moment.
The past and the future can wait.
Right now, it’s just you and your breath.
Now, bring your awareness to your energy.
Imagine your energy as a soft, glowing light within your chest —
your essence, your power, your life force.
See it gently pulsing, warm and steady.
Over time, pieces of your energy may have been scattered —
to people, places, situations, or memories.
Moments where you gave more than you had to give,
or left parts of yourself behind to keep the peace, to be loved, to survive.
You are safe now to call those pieces home.
Quietly repeat to yourself:
“I call back my power from every person, place, and moment that is not mine to carry.”
As you say this, imagine gentle threads of light returning to you —
from past relationships, old jobs, long-forgotten worries, and expectations that were never yours.
Each strand returns to your heart, purified and renewed,
bringing with it wisdom, not weight.
With every inhale, you draw your energy home.
With every exhale, you release what is not yours.
Inhale: reclaim.
Exhale: release.
Now feel your light expanding.
It grows brighter, fuller, more radiant —
filling every cell, every corner of your being.
You are whole.
You are grounded.
You are powerful.
Quietly affirm to yourself:
“My energy is my own.”
“I stand in my power with love and clarity.”
“I am safe to be all that I am.”
Stay here for a few breaths, resting in the fullness of your own energy.
Notice how it feels — centered, calm, sovereign.
Let gratitude rise — for your resilience, your return, your remembering.
When you’re ready, take one final deep breath in…
and exhale slowly, letting your awareness return to the room.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
and when it feels right, open your eyes.
You are home within yourself.
You have called back your power.
And it is good.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
