
Guided Meditation for Chakra Balancing and Alignment
Duration: 20–25 minutes
Setting: Quiet space, sitting or lying down comfortably.
Optional: Soft ambient music, gentle incense, or candles.
Introduction
Take a deep breath in… and exhale slowly.
Let your body begin to soften.
Allow your shoulders to relax, your jaw to unclench, your eyes to close gently.
With each breath, you are arriving — here, now, in this sacred moment.
Feel the natural rhythm of your breathing — the rise and fall, the ebb and flow.
With every inhale, invite light into your body.
With every exhale, release what no longer serves you.
Now we’ll journey through the seven chakras — the centers of energy that align your body, mind, and spirit.
1️⃣ Root Chakra — Muladhara (Base of the spine)
Bring your awareness to the base of your spine.
Visualize a deep, rich red light glowing here.
Feel the stability, the grounding, the connection to Earth beneath you.
Repeat silently:
“I am safe. I am grounded. I belong here.”
With each breath, imagine roots extending from your body into the Earth — anchoring you, supporting you, holding you steady.
2️⃣ Sacral Chakra — Svadhisthana (Below the navel)
Now shift your focus to the lower abdomen.
See a warm orange light swirling just below your navel.
This is the seat of creativity, pleasure, and emotional flow.
Breathe into this space and affirm:
“I am open to the flow of life. I honor my desires. I embrace joy.”
Let the orange light spin freely — fluid and radiant, like a gentle wave.
3️⃣ Solar Plexus Chakra — Manipura (Above the navel)
Move your awareness to your solar plexus, the area between your ribs and navel.
See a bright yellow light glowing like the sun.
Feel your strength, confidence, and willpower awakening.
Say to yourself:
“I am powerful. I am confident. I can create my reality.”
Feel the warmth expanding through your whole body, igniting your inner fire.
4️⃣ Heart Chakra — Anahata (Center of the chest)
Now bring your focus to your heart center.
Imagine a gentle green light radiating outward — soft, healing, and full of love.
Breathe deeply into your heart.
Let this energy expand — love for yourself, for others, for all beings.
Affirm:
“I am love. I am compassion. I am open to giving and receiving love.”
Let your whole chest feel light, free, and peaceful.
5️⃣ Throat Chakra — Vishuddha (Throat)
Shift awareness to your throat.
See a blue light, clear and bright like the sky.
This is the center of truth, expression, and communication.
Breathe gently and affirm:
“I speak my truth with clarity and kindness. My voice matters.”
Feel the blue light clearing any tension, opening your voice, and freeing your self-expression.
6️⃣ Third Eye Chakra — Ajna (Between the eyebrows)
Focus on the space between your eyebrows.
Visualize a deep indigo light, glowing like twilight.
This is your center of intuition and insight.
Whisper inwardly:
“I trust my intuition. I see with clarity. I am guided by wisdom.”
Let the indigo light expand through your mind, clearing fog and confusion, awakening your inner vision.
7️⃣ Crown Chakra — Sahasrara (Top of the head)
Finally, bring awareness to the crown of your head.
See a radiant violet or white light shining upward, connecting you to the universe, to divine consciousness.
Breathe into this connection and affirm:
“I am connected to the source of all life. I am light. I am whole.”
Feel this light cascading down through all your chakras — violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red — aligning, balancing, and harmonizing them all.
Closing
Take a few moments to rest in this feeling — balanced, open, and at peace.
Visualize all seven lights glowing together in perfect harmony.
When you are ready, take a deep breath in…
Exhale slowly…
And gently bring your awareness back to the room.
Open your eyes with a sense of clarity, balance, and calm.
