Poem: Whispers of Peace

In the hush between the heartbeats,
Where the world forgets to cry,
Peace drifts in like morning sunlight
Painting gold across the sky.

It blooms in quiet kindness,
In a hand held without fear,
In the soft and simple knowing
That we’re safer when we’re near.

Peace is not a distant country,
Not a dream we chase and lose—
It is born in every moment
That compassion learns to choose.

So let us sow its seeds with courage,
Let its calm in us increase,
For every breath of love we offer
Shapes a world that rests in peace.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie

  1. What a truly beautiful and thoughtful piece. Brenda captures the essence of peace not as a grand, unattainable ideal, but as a quiet, conscious choice built in the small, sacred moments between us. The imagery is gentle yet powerful—painting gold across the sky, a hand held without fear—reminding us that peace is woven from daily threads of kindness, courage, and compassion. This isn’t just a poem; it’s a quiet call to action, and a comforting promise that our smallest acts of love matter. Thank you, Brenda, for this profound and moving gift of words.🌷🤝

    1. Thank you so much for this deeply generous reflection. Your words met the piece with such care and understanding, and I’m truly moved by how beautifully you articulated its heart. Knowing that the poem felt like both a comfort and a call—to notice the sacred in the small, and to trust that love in its simplest form matters—means more to me than I can say. I’m grateful you took the time to sit with it and respond so thoughtfully. 🌷🤍
