Poem: Live in the Moment

Live in the Moment

Breathe in the sunlight, warm and slow,
Let all the restless currents go.
The future’s mist, the past’s old trace—
Right here, right now is your only place.

Sip the quiet, taste the air,
Find the pulse that’s always there.
Life unfolds in beats, not plans—
In open hearts, in open hands.

Catch the laughter while it’s near,
Hold the calm when skies are clear.
Every second, soft or bright,
Is a spark of fleeting light.

So stand within this tender space,
Feel time’s gentle, passing grace.
The world is whispering what it meant:
You’re alive—be fully present.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
