Poem: Healing the Heart

Healing is not a sudden light,
it is a quiet morning
that arrives without announcement,
asking only that you breathe.

The heart does not forget its cracks—
it learns where to bend,
where tenderness lives,
where strength was born from ache.

Some days you will feel whole,
other days the weight returns—
both are part of the same path,
both mean you are still moving.

Be kind to the pieces that hurt,
they carried you this far.
Even broken wings remember the sky,
and love finds its way back—
slowly,
when it is ready.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
