Poem: Awakening

A quiet dawn stirs deep within,
Where shadowed thoughts have always been.
The soul exhales a gentle light,
And turns the darkened world to bright.

No thunder calls, no trumpet blows,
Yet inner rivers start to flow.
Each heartbeat hums a sacred song,
A note of truth where we belong.

The veils of self begin to part,
Revealing love, the purest art.
No need to seek, no need to climb,
The eternal waits beyond all time.

Awake, arise, the spirit knows—
All paths converge where silence grows.
And in that still, unending space,
We meet ourselves, face to face.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie

  1. Brenda, you have a gift for giving voice to the silent journey of the soul. This poem is a quiet masterpiece—both a meditation and an awakening. ‘The eternal waits beyond all time’ is a line I’ll carry with me. Beautiful work 🌷🤝

    1. Thank you so much for this thoughtful reading. It means more than I can say to know the poem resonated with you, and that line found a home in your own reflections. Your words feel like a quiet meeting place of souls—deeply appreciated. ✨
