Poem: Live From the Heart

Live from the heart,
even when the world
teaches silence like survival.

Let your truth move freely—
like rain that never asks
permission to fall.

There will be days
your voice trembles,
days your spirit feels
stitched together by hope alone,
but still—
choose honesty over armor.

Love deeply.
Speak kindly.
Hold close the people
who make your soul feel recognized.

Do not trade wonder
for the safety of numbness.
The heart was never made
to live behind locked doors.

And if pain comes,
let it shape you gently,
not harden you into stone.

Because the strongest people
are not the ones
who feel nothing—
they are the ones
who continue to feel everything
and remain open anyway.

So live from the heart.
Again tomorrow.
Again when it hurts.
Again when it heals.
Again for as long as you are here.

Thank-you for reading.
