You have come a long way,
Though some days it may not seem so.
The distance is not measured
By the miles you’ve walked,
But by the storms you’ve weathered
And the strength you’ve learned to grow.
You have carried silent burdens,
Faced doubts that shadowed your light,
Yet each sunrise found you standing,
Still willing to continue the fight.
There were roads that bent unexpectedly,
Dreams that changed their shape,
Moments when giving up seemed easier
Than finding another escape.
But here you are—
Wiser than yesterday,
Stronger than you know,
Still reaching for tomorrow.
The scars you wear are not signs of defeat;
They are proof of your courage,
Stories etched into your journey,
Reminders of every challenge you met.
So pause and look behind you,
At the mountains you have climbed,
At the fears you have conquered,
At the person you’ve become with time.
You have come a long way,
And there is still beauty ahead.
Keep walking with hope in your heart,
And faith in each step you tread.
For every chapter you’ve survived
Has prepared you for what’s yet to be—
A future shaped by resilience,
And a life unfolding brilliantly.
Thank-you for reading.
