Book Review: Swords of Destiny By Sue Vincent

Book Review: Swords of Destiny By Sue Vincent

I love to read.  I will read just about any book if it looks interesting.  I enjoy both Fiction and non-fiction.  I am a lover of English folklore.  Last year I can cross an amazing author and co-blogger Sue Vincent.  The interaction started with a love of poetry and sharing each other work.  The more I learned about Sue Vincent the more I wanted to learn.  I discovered that she had written a few novels.  The first of Sue’s novels that caught by the eyes is a book call Sword of Destiny.
“…and the swords must be found and held by their bearers lest the darkness find a way into the heart of man. Ask the waters to grant guidance and tell the ancient Keeper of Light that it is time to join the battle for the next age.” Rhea Marchant heads north to the wild and beautiful landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales where she is plunged into an adventure that will span the worlds. The earth beneath her feet reveals its hidden life as she and her companions are guided by the ancient Keeper of Light in search of artifacts of arcane power. With the aid of the Old Ones and the merry immortal Heilyn, the company seeks the elemental weapons that will help restore hope for an unbalanced world at the dawn of a new era.
Sword of Destiny is a magical fiction adventure story.  It’s one that takes you to a time of magic, wonder, and warriors.
This story is a journey of the strength of man.  Sue has a lovely way of telling a story that puts you right into the book.
Sword of Density is an amazing story that takes you through many worlds. The characters encounter creature from different worlds and powers, from the mischievous Hielyn to a variety of powerful gods and several, magical swords.
Sword of Destiny is a book that you can’t put down. It is action packed from beginning to the end. Sue Vicent is an amazing author who created a wonderful journey. This book is a must read for anyone who has an interest in Celtic folklore.
