This is a short poem inspired by a photo of the moon. Many poets use pictures or photos, as prompt for their poetry. I decided, to use this lovely photo of the moon for this poem, Pathway to the Moon.
Pathway to the Moon
Follow the fairies glow
From down below.
The fairies know
The pathway to the moon.
If you don’t hurry
The fairies’ glow will be gone.
You must move along.
They only shine for a short time.
If your heart is right
You will be able to see the light.
The light of the fairies’ glow.
If your heart is right, they will
Show you the pathway to the moon.
