First Kiss
A walk amongst the leaves
A cool breeze on this summer day.
I remember no other
Then the boy that got away.
A friend that wished to discover
What a kiss would be like?
Not just a kiss on the cheek.
But a kiss on the lips.
Two friends that held hands.
Two friends that played in the sand.
Together we discovered
A first kiss on the lips.
Ever so shy
We waited
Until no one was by.
Our lips touched.
It was nice and sweet.
A moment I will never forget.
A moment of bliss.
A moment in time
That took a small part
Of my innocence away.
A moment I remember till this day.
