Childhood Ends
As I walk away from my childhood love.
I walk into a journey of a new love.
I walk among the willow trees.
I seek on my journey
What it means to truly be me.
I walk on the Earth through the many trees
I search to see the future me.
Will I still enjoy the things I did in the past?
Some things will forever last.
I walk a new road that begins
The discovery of who I am.
Who I want to be.
I walk amongst the Willow trees.
Trying to discover me.
My childhood has ended.
My new life begins.
A life of discovery.
A life without bonds.
A life of new memories to discover.
This is what you go through
When childhood ends.
